Open the page, click the TableHop icon in your toolbar (or press Alt+Shift+T), click the table you want in the list, then choose Copy, CSV or Excel. "Copy" puts the table on your clipboard ready to paste into Excel or Google Sheets.

Click the puzzle-piece icon in your browser's toolbar and click the pin next to TableHop.

Hover over a table in the list and TableHop outlines it on the page. The list also shows each table's size and its first rows.

Some sites draw tables with ordinary boxes instead of real table code. Click "Can't see your table? Pick it on the page", point at one row or card and click. Press ↑ to select a bigger area or ↓ for a smaller one, and Esc to cancel.

TableHop hides tables that only arrange the page's layout, and tiny ones. Click the link at the top of the list to show them too.

Browsers don't let any extension read their own pages (settings, new tab), the extension stores, or PDF files. Open the data on a normal web page.

If the table comes from another website embedded in the page, the browser blocks access to it. Right-click inside the frame and open it in a new tab, then use TableHop there.

Go to your browser's Extensions page, click Details under TableHop and turn on "Allow access to file URLs".

Excel in many European regions expects semicolons. In TableHop's settings, set "CSV separator" to semicolon – or use the Excel button, which always opens correctly.

Make sure "Add UTF-8 marker" is on in settings (it is by default), or use the Excel button.

Plain numbers like 1,234.5 are converted automatically. Currency, percentages, negatives in brackets, European formats and dates are converted by Pro's smart cleaning (turn it on in the popup or settings). Values that look like IDs – with leading zeros or more than 15 digits – are deliberately kept as text so they aren't damaged.

Smart cleaning guesses day/month order from the data and the page's language. If it guesses wrong, set "Date order" in settings.

By default a merged cell's value is repeated in every cell it covers, which makes sorting and filtering work. Change "Merged cells" in settings to keep the value in the first cell only.

If TableHop can't find the Next button it asks you to click it once. Some sites load a completely new web page for each results page – TableHop will tell you, and you can use "Add to collection" on each page instead.

Captures stop at 50 pages or 120 seconds by default to protect slow sites. Change "Maximum pages" and "Maximum scroll time" in settings.

Multi-page and scroll captures remove repeated rows (sites often show the same row twice while loading). If your data genuinely contains identical rows, export each page normally instead.

Only capture data you're allowed to use, and keep page limits reasonable. Some websites' terms restrict automated browsing or reuse of their data.

Open TableHop's settings and click "Refresh". If it still shows Free, click "Restore purchase" and enter the email you paid with.

Install TableHop there, open settings, click "Restore purchase" and enter the email you paid with. Click the link in the email you receive.

In settings, click "Manage plan & receipts". Yearly plans can be cancelled at any time and keep working until the end of the paid year.
