FormHop privacy policy

Last updated 15 October 2026 · applies to the FormHop extension for Chrome and Microsoft Edge

The short version: FormHop saves what you type into web forms only in your own browser. We have no servers that receive it. We never see it, upload it, share it or sell it.

Who we are

FormHop is made by Kage Lab, a business name of Cory Christian (ABN 80 695 802 826), Sydney, Australia. Contact: [email protected].

What FormHop never stores

Passwords, PINs, one-time codes, and card, bank account, tax file, passport, licence, Medicare and similar ID numbers are skipped automatically, as are banking and sign-in websites by default. You can add any other site to a "never save" list in Settings, or pause FormHop on a site from its button.

What leaves your computer

Only licence information, through our payment provider ExtensionPay (extensionpay.com), which uses Stripe to process payments:

None of your saved form answers are ever part of these requests. FormHop has no analytics, no tracking and no advertising.

Permissions FormHop uses

How long data is kept, and deleting it

On the free plan, saved forms are deleted automatically after 7 days. With Pro, you choose how long to keep them. You can delete one saved form or everything at any time from FormHop's "All saved forms" page. Removing the extension deletes everything it stored.

Chrome Web Store Limited Use statement

FormHop's use of information received from Google APIs and the browser will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. The data FormHop handles is used only to provide its single purpose (saving and restoring what you type into web forms, and drafting form answers), is not transferred to anyone, is not used for advertising, and is not read by people.

Your rights

We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Act 1988. Because your form data never reaches us, we cannot see, access or correct it – it is entirely under your control in your browser. For anything we do hold (such as a purchase email address), contact [email protected] to access, correct or delete it. If you're unhappy with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).

Children

FormHop is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we ever change how FormHop handles data, we'll update this page and the extension's store listing before the change takes effect, and ask for your agreement in the extension where required.
